Ennio Morricone has written more than 500 scores for cinema and television. On this album, he himself conducts his own selection of some of his most famous movie themes in a legendary concert given in Rome in 1998. It includes great musical moments from films like "Once Upon a Time in the West", "Cinema Paradiso", "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" and "The Mission", offering a fine tribute to one of the best film music composers of the 20th century.
